The LogoMetrix Palatometeric System Highlights:

1. Installation of the LogoMetrix Palatometeric System is simple - Just plug one or two (one for each live person) Palatometers into available USB port(s) on your computer or an attached USB hub.
   
   
2. Use the sound card on your PC for Acoustic(voice and sound) input.
   
   - Palatometeric and Voice/Acoustic data is displayed in real time and can be recorded and saved for replay and analysis at a later time.
   
   
3. Palate data collection:
   
   - Soft flexible psuedopalates instrumented with 118 palate sensor points on an equally spaced grid.
   
   - Palate data is collected at 100 Hz.
   
   - Fast turnaround for instrumented, custom fit soft palates. (typically a few days after receiving the subject's stone model).
   
   
4. Voice/Acoustic data is collected and stored simultaneously with Palatometeric data.
   
   - Hardware latency between palate and acoustic data is limited to approximately 25 ms.
   
   - Voice Acoustic data collection is CD quality (44.1 kHz).
   
   
5. Acoustic data is displayed simultaneously with Palatometeric data in user selectable time and/or frequency based analysis modes.
